I wanted to let you know that I received the tablet and the PVV peripherals and I have to share with you that it is truly wonderful. The system includes EVERYTHING that one needs to get great captioning, especially the wireless BT mic, the right splitters and cables, and most of all, a system that really works. I tried it over the weekend and I am truly impressed with the PVV system.

Captioning is truly one of the most important assistive technologies in my life that truly compliments my Cochlear Implant and other AT that I utilize to help me have effective communication, be it in-person, electronically, in groups, and anything else. I truly wish I had this technology when I started out in grade school as a child with profound hearing loss in both ears since infancy. At least this is available for all to benefit from as needed.

I have been using Caption Companion wherever it is of help for me and I really appreciate having it. Examples have been online programs, presentations, and videos. Along with that, I have used it when I am with others and of course, when I talk with my wife. It is wonderful to have and I am truly amazed how much it has made a difference in my understanding and comprehension.

I wonder how I ever got by without Caption Companion for most of my life living with severe/profound hearing loss now to my mid-70's getting through my education obtaining my Master's degree in Education, my employment and career as a counselor for college students, my involvement advocating for people with hearing loss, and my personal affairs with my friends and family.
